- 5-6 pcs Peppercorns
- 1 Bay leaf
- 1 small Cinnamon stick
- 2 Black and green cardamoms
Instructions to make to make Amritsari pindi chole
- Soak chole overnight.

- In a piece of muslin cloth take cloves, peppercorns,bay leaf, cinnamon stick and cardamoms and tie it and make potli.
- In a pressure cooker take chole add potli and salt. Boil it for 5-6 whistles.
- Now in a small bowl mix all dry ingredients Salt red chilli powder, haldi, dhaniya powder,Amchoor,chana masala and kasoori methi. Mix well and make thick paste. Keep aside.
- Now in a kadhai take oil add jeera and hing.
Add ginger garlic paste. Cook for a minute. - Now add chopped onions. Cook till brown. Add tomato puree. Cook till oil saperates.
- Add masala paste. Mix well and cook till oil saperates. Add boiled chole. Add required amount of water.
- Cover and cook for 10 mins.
Garnish with onion and coriander leaves. - Serve hot with roti, naan or kulcha puri.
