- Add ghee/oil in cooker let it heat then add bay leaves, star aneas, green and black cardamom, cloves, cinnamon all the whole spices let is crack don't burn
- Then add onions saute it well till it gets golden brown then add tomatoes and chillies and cook well till tomatoes become soft for 1 min then add ginger garlic paste and mix well till the rawness is gone (1 min)
- Add curd mix it well and add chilli powder and garam masala and salt to taste
- Add the soaked rice mix it well and add water same quantity of rice (eg 2 cups water for 2 cups rice)
- Close the cooker and after two whistle turn off the flame and let it cool down for 10 mins
