- 10 curry leaves
- 3 green chillies cut length wise
- 1 Tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp sugar powder
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions to make to make Urad Dal Dhokla
- Soak dal and methi seeds for 5 hours.

- Grind to a thick batter.


- Mix rice powder and curd, whisk well.


- Add turmeric powder,
black pepper, chili flakes, and salt. Whisk well again with no lumps.
- Add soda and s few drops of water to activate soda. Transfer the batter to a greased container.

- To the boiling water in a steamer keep a standard. Place the container with batter.

- When cools down remove the urad dal dhokla from the container, cut it into pieces.


- For tempering heat oil in a tadka pan. Add cumin and mustard seeds and allow them to crackle.
- Add curry leaves, green chilies, hing, and sesame seeds. Cover the pan as sesame seeds will splutter.
- Add water salt, sugar and allow to boil.
Bring down and add lemon juice. Sprinkle the tasks on dhokla and serve with green chutney.
