  1. Heat ½ cup oil in pan, add in 2 chopped onions and fry till golden brown, remove the brown onion and keep aside.
  2. Now in the remaining oil add 2 potatoes cut into cubes.
  3. Fry till golden brown and remove.
  4. Marinate ½ kg chicken with 250 gm yogurt, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 2 tsp chilli powder, 2 tsp salt, 1 tsp turmeric, ½ tsp ground nutmeg & mace, 4 star anise, 50 gm dried plum and 1 tsp all spice. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
